We have a fantastic opportunity to join the bank as a Senior Manager for BAU Salesforce CoE.

The purpose of this role is to lead the end to end delivery of multiple IT projects. Here you’ll mobilise and direct people and resources needed to achieve objectives, in terms of timelines, risks, costs and quality standards, in order to deliver successful outcomes aligned with our business goals.

You’ll manage a team of 10 - 20 team members, supporting critical activities to keep our UK Salesforce instances and solutions running, whilst ensuring that all security\CISO elements are addressed.

Reporting into the head of the CoE, you’ll manage a team performing fix on fail, patching and upgrades, monitoring and small enhancements\quality of life improvements to all Salesforce based solutions in the UK and will set out the roadmap and ways of working within the UK wide Salesforce CoE.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Overseeing the service level of Santander’s Salesforce implementation, such as the enforcement of Service-Level Agreements and fulfilment of KPIs
  • Analysing the status of Salesforce incidents and ensuring they are solved or escalated accordingly
  • Solving complex problems and delivering the service management and operational requirements for Salesforce projects into the production environment via the Service Introduction process
  • Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and methods to manage the Quality Plan process and the Service Introduction process for Salesforce COE
  • Collecting and analysing data, both real-time (monitoring/alerts) and historical (reporting/metrics) and initiating and recommending improvements to systems, processes and procedures
  • Managing a team of 10-20 team members to ensure the delivery of objectives for the BAU team and service management of all UK Salesforce instances working on development plans

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Ability to Design and build both custom/standard component based solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Advanced skills in Scoping, sizing and estimating of work on Salesforce platform for requirements around a high level design\user story
  • Able to act as the single point of contact for development team, triaging and prioritizing issues as required
  • Capable of managing a team of Salesforce specialists and developers focused on incident management, break glass and small change backlog and candidate must be superb at prioritising that workload
  • Must be fantastic at managing baseline KPIs for a BAU team and meticulous at tracking incidents\SLAs\efficiencies of a support team along with finding opportunities to make improvements
  • Deep technical experience with Salesforce eco system particularly Experience Cloud, Apex, LWC and Visualforce

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Broad understanding of integration patterns around Salesforce and experience of complex troubleshooting with networking\security elements
  • Certified Salesforce System Architect
  • Certified Salesforce Application Architect
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

This role is a permanent position to be based in Bootle, Liverpool.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
