The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment
and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of
this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
• Implement API Management solutions using Google Apigee.
• Develop API Proxies using policies on traffic management, security, transformation and mediation.
• Strong knowledge in XML,SOAP and JSON message formats and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of Javascript.
• Good Understanding of TLS, mutual-authentication, certificates, key stores and trust stores.
• Understanding of API Products, API Keys rotation and Consumer Apps.
• Lead team of API Developer portal and Analytics.
Consult team with good knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect 2.0, SAM, Encryption/Decryption and other security related
protocols.
•
• Should be able to independently perform and deliver Proof of Concepts on Apigee.
• Knowledge and experience in developing software using Agile methodology preferred.
• Should be able to communicate effectively over any channel (written, verbal, etc.)
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Google Apigee platform
• Experience in managing and implementing API Products
• Working knowledge of consulting/implementing Apigee X/Hybrid solution
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Experience in development of REST APIs, converting services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa.
• Proficient in OpenAPI Specification
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
