Job Description:

SAP ABAP Programmer with functional knowledge to perform ABAP programming, design, testing, and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works as a technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks. Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions.
  • Participate as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers. Understands DXC strategy and the role that the individual plays.
  • Uses knowledge tools and reuses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience Required: 6+ years of technical experience SAP ABAP development and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study.

Knowledge and Skills Required: 

  • A Computer or Industrial Engineer Bachelor or equivalent Degree. 
  • ABAP Programming and software development knowledge (Reports, ALV, Function Modules, Classes, ABAP proxy).
  • ABAP For Hana experience (Fiori, CDS Views, AMDP’s, Eclipse) – Certification in ABAP development is highly recommeneded.
  • Hana DB Expertise / BTP
  • OO Programming
  • Debugging and program performance tuning.
  • Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. Able to contribute to the design for deliverables. Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
  • Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area. Demonstrate fundamental technical knowledge.
  • ITIL Process knowledge (a plus) Customer Service experience.
  • Experience leading projects from technical perspective.
  • Strong research and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong experience with customers in different locations.
  • English (at least 85%).
  • US Visa (recommended)
