JOB PURPOSE 

The Intern - Product Marketing (Enabling Technologies) will engage in hands-on activities in the medical device industry, specifically supporting the 7D FLASH Navigation platform. The Product Marketing Intern will support key initiatives related to marketing, messaging strategies, digital content creation, and commercial promotion. This role offers exposure to surgeon labs, sales enablement, and cross-functional collaboration with MarCom and Product Management while developing a deep understanding of the spine navigation market.  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Downstream Marketing, Messaging & Digital Content: 

  • Assist in the creation and refinement of product messaging and value propositions for the 7D FLASH Navigation system 

  • Support the development of website content, social media assets, and digital campaigns to drive awareness 

  • Help prepare internal and external presentations for product launches and commercial updates 

 Sales Enablement & Promotion: 

  • Analyze customer feedback to identify gaps in current marketing collateral and sales tools 

  • Assist with the creation of sales training materials, product guides, and promotional brochures 

  • Contribute to the creation of success stories, case studies, and FAQs for field sales teams 

Events & Lab Support: 

  • Support cadaveric labs and surgeon education events, ensuring proper branding and capturing marketing content where applicable 

  • Assist in the execution of trade shows and professional education workshops 

Market & Competitive Intelligence: 

  • Research market trends and competitor messaging within the spine navigation and enabling technology space 

  • Create reports to summarize key competitive insights that inform marketing strategy 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Education/Certifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and pursuing college degree 

 

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

  • First-hand experience in healthcare enabling technology. 

  • Exposure to surgeon engagement, clinical insights, and market strategy. 

  • Opportunities to contribute to real-world product management and business initiatives. 

  • Networking with industry professionals, sales reps, and R&D teams.

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities: 

  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Power BI 

  • Interest in technology, medical devices, orthopedics, or spine surgery 

The anticipated base hourly rate for an employee who is located in California this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect the pay scale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
