Job Description Summary:
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Managed Care, provides analytics and decision support by translating payer contract rates and terms, patient volume, and utilization trends into actionable insights to facilitate the strategic positioning of revenue, payer contracts, and overall network strategy. The Sr. Financial Analyst works closely with Managed Care leaders to prioritize what-if modeling and reporting needs and ensure provision of timely and accurate deliverables.Responsibilities And Duties:
Analyze and manage hospital-based and professional-based reimbursement models and payment structures. Develop and monitor financial models for shared savings contracts and value-based care initiatives using actuarial methods (trend analysis, claims cost modeling, benchmarking, regression analysis, etc, etc.). Collaborate with Managed Care and/or Population Health to assess financial risks and optimize cost-effectiveness. Support the design and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Conduct financial modeling and analysis to assist our joint venture teams, including assessing valuation, risk, and projected returns. Monitor post-acquisition performance to ensure alignment with financial and strategic goals.Minimum Qualifications:
