What You'll Do
* First point of contact for the client and the expansion of the relationship with the customer-Complete project management and project controlling including consulting in regards of event venues and formats.
* Full budget responsibility and timely financial transactions-Full knowledge of event guidelines and SLA’s and compliance regulations of the customer-Coordination of all third parties in the project management process including potential external employees such as freelancers, hostesses, onsite support etc.-Collaboration with travel logistic planners, if required.
* Taking responsibility towards the client and the project
* Fulfilling the requirements while adhering to given a given framework of SLA’s and compliance guidelines
* Good network and credibility on third parties such as hotels, DMC’s, A/V-suppliers etc.
* Pro-activity and holistic project management approach. Capability on early detection of leaks and gaps including escalation where needed.
* Strong abilities on time management and able to work under pressure.
What We Are Looking For
* Excellent project lead knowledge and yearlong experience in the procurement of event management services as well as in the end-to-end workstream of various event formats.
* Ability to coordinate all in the project management involved third party agencies
* Very strong client communication skills. Ability to take care of and expand client relationship
* Knowledge and understanding of figures related to project profitability and results driven.
* Deep understanding of industry and brand and engaged interest on the job
* Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Very good knowledge of the national and international hotel- and meeting industry, good knowledge on the event- and meeting technology
* Acting pro-active and independently.
* Ability to build a strong and stable customer relationship on project management level
* Very good organizing skills and time management.
* Further education as professional event manager, apprenticeship in travel agency or hotel industry combined with a minimum of 3 years experience on the job as project manager or a minimum of 5 years experience on the job in the meeting industry.
* Strong ability to work team oriented.
