JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Objective:
Responsible for quality policy implementation and ensuring quality compliance for facility and support site facility maintenance.


Major Responsibilities:
 

1. Facility Work Orders: Creation, tracking, trend generation, and impact assessment in Maximo.

2. Coordination: Strong collaboration with QA, Production, Maintenance, and EHS functions.

3. Team Management: Leading contractors, vendors, and service providers to execute tasks.

4. Compliance Documentation: Ensuring compliance for vendors, contractors, and service providers.

5.  Safety Promotion: Encouraging safe work practices and behaviors among all site personnel.

6. Vendor Management: Identifying, developing, and processing payments for vendors and contractors.

7. Energy Conservation: Identifying and implementing energy-saving measures without major investments.

8. Pest Control Collaboration: Working with the pest control team to identify and close gaps.

9. Root Cause Analysis: Conducting RCA and FMEA for major gaps and new projects.

10. Engineering Solutions: Providing solutions for critical facility maintenance issues.

11. Project Management: Overseeing facility improvement projects.

12. Quality Records: Generating necessary records for policy or standard deviations.

13. Documentation Governance: Managing overall facility documentation and keeping updated drawing records.

14. Regulatory Approvals: Obtaining necessary approvals for facility drawings.

15. Policy Impact Assessment: Assessing new policy impacts and leading changes to address gaps.

16. Coordination with SMEs: Close coordination with regional and division SMEs and site coordinators

 

Educational Background:
1. B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

2.Experience: 0-5 years in facility maintenance or similar interest for fresh candidates.

3.Preferred Experience: Experience in pharmaceutical or multinational companies (MNCs).

4. Software Skills: Functional knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint

2. Communication: Strong English communication and follow-up skills to manage stakeholder expectations.

3. Attention to Detail: Ensuring quality compliance, cleaning, upkeep, and safety standards.

4. People Management: Ability to deliver tasks as per Abbott’s expectations.

5. SAP Knowledge: Familiarity with the SAP system.

6. Willingness to Learn: Demonstrating a learning behavior and striving for continuous improvement
