The Labor Analyst position leads all production team member staffing and movement for Oshkosh Defense. This team member is responsible for working with Operations leadership to identify future staffing needs, lead the internal bidding and/or movement process, and communicate the changes with team members and Operations. This position partners closely with Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Union Stewards.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to include the Operations Leadership team to understand staffing requirements and collaborate on team member movement.

  • Process all internal bid and/or movement with internal union representatives, the Joint Job Committee, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

  • Communicate all team member movement activity to team members and the Operations Leadership team.

  • Primary resource for team member questions on team member staffing and movement processes.

  • Partner with Operations HR Business Partners on critical issues, applicable labor relations items, grievance processing, etc.

  • Build strong relationships with the Union Bargaining Committee and Joint Job Committee to resolve issues.

  • Maintain detailed, accurate records documenting team member movement and transition from position to position.

  • Manage internal skill certification and Weld Continuity Log processes.

  • Partner with the Joint Job Committee and the Operations Leadership team to resolve union related job evaluations and conflict.

  • Manage the apprenticeship program with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Involvement in other miscellaneous Human Resources projects as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

  • 3 plus years related experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in manufacturing union environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, emphasis on Excel

  • PHR or SPHR certification

Pay Range:

$56,600.00 - $88,400.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
