About you and this role

Research & Development Internship – Polyurethane Resin for Composite Application Reactivity and Rheology Optimization

We are looking for you, an ambitious master’s student (m/f), to support our Polyurethane R&D/TS&D Department by doing an internship project in Polyurethane Resin for Composite Application Reactivity and Rheology Optimization for our location in CORREGGIO, ITALY.

Project description

The field of application will be new generation Polyurethane (PU) Composites.

PU Composite are used in multiple and heterogeneous fields of application (LFI, Pultrusion, SRIM, …)

The internship student will be part of project teams aiming to introduce new generation of PU resins in other fields of applications, like RTM, Filament Winding,… She/he will focus on reactivity and rheology studies and formulations development. The average day will comprise lab activity, including synthesis, testing and hands-on application trials. Literature research, results analysis, interpretation of the results, technical report writing will be key part of the internship too and complement the time allocation.

Qualifications

  • You are currently studying for a Master degree or equivalent in Chemistry.
  • You have a good working knowledge of English
  • You like lab work / hands-on
  • You have a strong problem-solving skill
  • You like teamwork 

You can start between February and March 2025 for a period of 6 months (exact timing to be discussed).
