The Opportunity:
JCITA's mission is to provide the U.S. Government with a well-trained and knowledgeable cadre of counterintelligence (CI) practitioners to combat adversarial intelligence threats.
The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) program is the crown jewel of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) enterprise in enabling CI personnel in their mission of protecting our nation from adversarial threats. CI Agents' abilities to counter espionage, terrorism, and insider threats hinge upon JCITA's advanced CI training.
From its inception, the JCITA Instructor program has grown and evolved well past the original vision. Changes in the CI landscape have necessitated the support of an agile, innovative team, and a solid business partner in CACI, to ensure the program continues to deliver the quantity and quality of training for a successful DoD CI Program.

Responsibilities:

  • The Supervisory Team Leads  will meet the requirements per the Statement of Work as required. The Team Lead position will be responsible for the full spectrum of duties as a course instructor in addition to the supervisory responsibilities (collateral duty). Team Leads must be a graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school, and one of the following JCITA source handling courses: Military Counterintelligence Collections (MCC) course, Advanced Cl Collections Course (ACICC) and the Joint Military Counterintelligence Collections Course (JMCCC). Other qualifying courses such as the Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC), Advanced Source Operations Training Course (ASOTC), Military Operations Training Course (MOTC), Field Tradecraft Course (FTC), Operations Tradecraft Course (OTC), or an IC school equivalent or have experience conducting Level II MCC in accordance with the DoDI-S 5240.17. Team Leads must have a minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience conducting, supervising, or instructing, of CI or HUMINT collection activities.

The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the training and development of counterintelligence instructors within the section. This role involves providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the effective delivery of counterintelligence training programs. The Supervisor works closely with JCITA Section Chief and Course Chairs to develop curriculum, assess training needs, and enhance instructional methodologies to meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in counterintelligence operations, with a strong understanding of intelligence methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques.
  • Prior experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training delivery, preferably in a law enforcement, military, or intelligence agency setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the supervision and development of personnel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
