The ePMO – Enterprise Project Management Office – is a highly functioning team working on the most important and impactful projects across the enterprise. Successful candidates will have strong project management skills aligned to the Project Management Institute (PMI), 3+ years of related project management experience. This is a fully remote position and available if you live in the following states only: AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI & WY.

The hours are flexible as we have remote Coders across the Nation. Generally, any 8-hour period between 7am – 7pm can work, with production being the greatest emphasis.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the project management delivery - to include preparing and managing project documentation, deliverables, milestones, resources, and schedules for small scale projects. The incumbent must have a background in project management principles, techniques and best practices. The position shall be assigned small or medium scale projects and can be assigned as a contributor PM on programs. The incumbent is expected to build team relationships and work with people at a variety of levels. This position shall work closely with their respective HR/Project Leader(s) to collaborate, validate, and plan manage to project management methodology. Adherence to PMI and Agile best practices, tools, and methodology is required.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Must navigate the project management lifecycle with minimal support. Supports the implementation of standard agile and waterfall project management tools and methodologies.

2. Builds and supports effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations.

3. Supports and initiates projects by drafting project documentation and leading team to consensus on project charter including scope, objectives, assumptions, deliverables, constraints. Exhibits proficiency in creating agendas and capturing relevant meeting minutes and action items.

4. Supports project planning processes by creating foundational documentation.  Uses the work breakdown structure to decompose project activities; creates and implements issues management plan, risk management plan, communication plan, change management plan, and relationship management plan as required.

5. Facilitates project meetings and coordinates the interaction with other departments using proven tools and techniques. Drafts agendas, minutes, and presentation materials. Facilitates sub-team meetings, stand-ups, grooming sessions and retrospectives.

6. Provides support and/or manages and controls project to successful completion. Administers change management processes to control project scope, schedule, and budget changes. Proactively identifies and mitigates project issues, project obstacles and risks using appropriate escalation process and tools as appropriate. Manages project schedule to identify any variations from the plan.  Supports, develops, and executes communication plan to ensure key stakeholder awareness.

7. Supports and/or facilitates project closure including identifying lessons learned; effectively incorporating lessons learned into future projects; successful transition from project to operations for all aspects and team members; appropriately manages project documentation.

8. Partners with senior project, portfolio and program managers to support management of larger work efforts.

9. This position is responsible for supporting and managing appropriate level projects across multiple departments system-wide and requires interaction at all levels of staff and management. Requires work in context of multiple commitments, priorities and conflicts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.

Three plus years of relevant project management experience is required.
Must possess strong soft skills, adaptability, critical thinking, strong business, project management methodology (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) knowledge/acumen.
Must have experience in small scale project planning and reporting. Requires communication and presentation skills to engage  project audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels. Must be proficient in MS Office suite of products, to include MS Project.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.


Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
