Position Summary

As the Head of Platform and Operations for the D2C channel in the Czech and Slovak markets, you will lead a local team responsible for eShop operations and execution of key cross-functional initiatives. You will work closely with the regional Center of Excellence (CoE) and internal stakeholders to deliver new features, services, and improvements to the online customer experience. This role combines hands-on team leadership with strategic project execution in a fast-paced digital environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Manage and develop a team of 4–6 professionals focused on eShop operations, content management, customer care coordination, and administrative support.

Project Management

Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects, including new delivery options, financial services (such as installment plans or insurance), and the implementation of a new sell-out platform tailored to the CZ/SK market.

Platform Coordination

Act as a key contact for the regional CoE to define local business requirements, prioritize platform needs, and ensure timely delivery and testing of platform enhancements.

Operational Excellence

Ensure seamless operation of the Samsung.cz and Samsung.sk eShops – including product catalog accuracy, localization, pricing updates, and issue resolution.

Customer Experience

Collaborate with logistics, customer support, and commercial teams to continuously improve service levels and the end-to-end customer journey.

Performance Monitoring

Track key performance indicators (traffic, conversion, fulfillment, NPS, CSAT), identify areas for optimization, and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital operations, or project management, ideally within a consumer-focused environment.

  • Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak (daily communication with regional teams and internal stakeholders).

  • Strong leadership background with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-impact projects.

  • Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms, CMS systems, and operations workflows.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
