JR70649 Facilities Operation Director

Job Summary:
The Facilities Director is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and renovation of the company's facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds. This role ensures that all facilities operate efficiently, reliably, sustainably, and competitively, meeting the business's needs while complying with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Management: Build and supervise the facility’s budget, ensuring efficient operations.

Maintenance Oversight: Schedule and lead routine maintenance on all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, UPW, wastewater, hook-up, gas/chemical systems, and site services.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure the facility aligns with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards. Develop and update the Emergency Action Plan.

Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues.

Contractor Management: Lead all aspects of all contractors working with the facility, ensuring work is completed to acceptable standards.

Long-Range Planning: Handle long-range planning to support future needs and growth, including renovations, additions, and base builds for new tech nodes or new buildings.

Staff Management: Hire, train, empower, and develop facilities staff. Supervise all facilities personnel and external contractors.

Project Management: Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments. Lead facility-related projects from inception to completion.

Space Allocation: Allocate and lead facility space for maximum efficiency.

Reporting: Prepare and present reports on facilities’ conditions and operations.

Take charge of field areas for facilities, upholding industry standards and leading important projects such as water, power, and renewable energy. Collaborate with global facilities and engineering to ensure alignment with standard methodologies, and work with government affairs to meet regulatory requirements..

Technical Leaders Development: Develop and mentor technical leaders for technology development

Infrastructure Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or higher in facility management, industrial engineering, wafer fab manufacturing, business administration, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong leadership and managerial skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in facility management.

Strong negotiation skills.

Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
