Pratt & Whitney’s GTF Engine Center (West Palm Beach, FL) team is searching for a Senior Manager (P5) to lead and scale warehouse and logistics execution and inventory management in support of PW1100G-JM engine overhauls.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for strengthening the operating model across FSL and KCA warehouse operations. You will work to ensure inventory accuracy, availability, and accountability directly aligned to engine build objectives, suite roll performance, and financial targets.

The position owns three core pillars:

  • End-to-end FSL and KCA warehouse operations and inventory material management

  • Performance governance of K&N (3PL partner)

  • Inventory & Material Accountability (IMAC) leadership and cross-functional execution

This leader will operate in a highly visible environment, interfacing regularly with site leadership, Materials, Operations, Customer Support Engineering, Production Control, Finance, and Quality. Success requires leadership presence, structured governance, and the ability to drive results through influence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FSL & KCA Warehouse Operational Leadership

  • Lead and continuously mature daily warehouse operations across FSL and KCA, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, milk runs, and space optimization.

  • Establish disciplined material flow aligned to engine conversion schedules and suite roll execution.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through structured cycle count programs, discrepancy resolution, and ERP system integrity.

  • Develop scalable warehouse processes aligned to long-term production growth and site expansion.

  • Maintain strong safety, compliance, and operational readiness standards.

  • Partner with Materials and Production Control to prioritize constrained material against validated engine candidates.

  • Escalate and resolve inventory risks that impact operational stability or customer commitments.

  • Inventory & Material Accountability (IMAC) Leadership

  • Responsible for IMAC performance outcomes by driving structured governance and cross-functional execution.

  • Establish governance structures for IMAC categories, including excess, obsolete, aging inventory, and RMA management.

  • Partner with responsible IMAC category owners across Materials, Quality, Finance, and Operations to execute process improvements, mitigation plans and recovery strategies.

  • Align IMAC performance to EBIT objectives and financial exposure targets.

  • Provide structured monthly reporting and senior leadership-level visibility into inventory health, reserve strategy, and risk exposure.

  • Strengthen systemic controls that improve material traceability, transparency, and financial accountability.

  • 3PL (K&N) Governance & Performance Leadership

  • Own performance governance of K&N as the site’s 3PL partner.

  • Define, monitor, and elevate KPIs including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, suite roll support, warehouse productivity, and process efficiency.

  • Lead structured business reviews with K&N leadership to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous performance improvement.

  • Partner with K&N and Materials to ensure that suite rolls are delivered on time and aligned to validated engine conversion schedules

  • Drive operational discipline to ensure inbound and outbound material supports validated engine conversion plans.

  • Develop contingency strategies to mitigate shipping delays, receipt surges, or workforce constraints.

  • Optimize freight strategy, packaging efficiency, and reduction of expedited cost exposure.

  • Collaborate regularly with the K&N team to identify areas for operational improvements and implement lean methodologies to eliminate waste.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, Production Control, Engineering or Operations; OR Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree or equivalent Technical Training (A&P/AMT) and 12+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or specialized Military training and 14+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and supply chain roadblocks.

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma).

  • Ability to use Technology, Programs and Data to optimize business operations, drive accountability and increase supplier performance.
