Arene’s goal is to open vehicle programming to everyone by simplifying vehicle software development and increasing deployment frequency without compromising safety and security. This will create a whole new market of vehicle application developers who, through software, integrate a vehicle into our daily lives in novel ways. Arene aims to improve how vehicles are designed and developed, and we’re working with Toyota to work towards this goal in its next-generation vehicles. 

The Arene Software Production Line (Arene SPL) is one of the main components in the Arene product portfolio. The Arene SPL is an end-to-end solution for the design, development and delivery of in-vehicle software. It applies best practices in Continuous Integration (CI) and Delivery (CD) at scale across multiple teams, organizations and companies. 

Arene SPL is developed and maintained by multiple engineering teams across different global offices. These teams work with the latest technologies (e.g. Python, Go, Kubernetes, TypeScript, React, etc.) and multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to produce developer tools which accelerate the speed and quality of software development.

You will report to the Engineering Manager of Arene SPL, and the role is hybrid - 3 days in office per week.

As the team lead of the Arene SPL product to help nurture the team and deliver value to our customers and business. The right candidate will have a solid technical background coupled with leadership experience managing production development teams and successfully developing and delivering features to customers.
