Analog Device’s CoreAI team is looking for a Senior Principal of Infrastructure and Compute who will be responsible for defining and evaluating the physical infrastructure requirements for cloud and local training and inference hardware. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with other groups in the AI team to define and evaluate physical infrastructure requirements for cloud and local training and inference hardware including software tools for management. 

  • Monitor technical trends in emerging hardware technologies and advancements. 

  • Identify and create methods to evaluate, monitor, and benchmarks hardware performance. 

  • Perform experimentation on novel compute hardware. 

  • Work with vendors and internal to identify partnerships and collaborations on advancing system, the inference and training capabilities. 

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s in Computer Engineering or a related field with 7+ years full-time industry experience in defining and evaluating physical infrastructure requirements for cloud and local training and inference hardware. 

  • Knowledge of technical trends in the field. 

  • Track record of experimentation on novel computer hardware. 

  • In-depth expertise in AI infrastructure and computing.

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $208,380 to $286,523.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
