We are seeking an experienced sales leader to help drive growth for Yahoo Taiwan’s E-Commerce business. This role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong business judgment, analytical skills, as well as high emotional intelligence and self-motivation. The ideal candidate is prepared to join an exceptional, fast-paced team whose mission is to accelerate business results by providing hands-on strategic and tactical support for needle-moving initiatives across the company. This is a challenging, high-impact role that will identify and implement new initiatives at expanding vendors and users base while simultaneously driving revenue growth. This role requires e-commerce expertise, an in-depth understanding of B2C business models and industries from different countries, and strong relationships with retail brands. The candidate will have a visible profile within the Taiwan ecommerce space offering industry thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a large sales team to provide an unparalleled platform/service for our users as well as drive excellent results for revenue achievements. 

  • Plan and align business strategy with senior leadership, key partners, and stakeholders to deliver outstanding business results.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, design and engineering to create top of class products and services that can offer a vastly enhanced shopping experience.

  • Coordinate resources from cross-functional teams, real-time grasp of competing products dynamic and industry situation, through data analysis, user feedback, develop optimization programs for B2C and B2B2C platform/product.

  • Define dashboards and statistics to continue evaluating product health metrics (such as CTR, Conversion, DAU, Path-to-Purchase) and revenue performance.

  • Uplift conversion rate from visitor to buyer, grow daily active users on mobile app, manage front-end product lifecycle planning and design initiatives to effectively support objective achievement.

  • Be a thought leader within the ecommerce industry to identify partnerships and strategic development for growth

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years of solid experience in related fields in an e-commerce/internet environment including category management, product operation, strategic planning, or marketing.

  • High analytical competencies and data-oriented thinker

  • Strong interpersonal skill with great sense in driving sales results and working closely with product management and engineers.

  • Solid communication skill and problem-solving ability to coordinate resources and provide actionable solutions.

  • Strong sense of ecommerce industry trends and customer needs with excellent analytical capability. Experience in developing and understanding customers, competitors and trends.

  • A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willing to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility.

  • BA/BS Degree or above in relevant majors.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin(Chinese) is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2C business, mobile product design and operation preferred.

  • E-Commerce experience in international markets will be a plus.
