We work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across the company to analyze market opportunities, create winning strategies, and inform important decisions with insightful, data-driven recommendations based on a deep knowledge of the business, customers, and external market factors.
Job Profile Summary- Corporate Development & Ventures Manager II

The Corporate Development & Ventures group at Bose seeks to accelerate our corporate strategy through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate venture capital (CVC) investments and will:
1. identify and bring into Bose through acquisition, external technologies, capabilities or businesses that accelerate existing businesses plans or create new Bose businesses;
2. develop and execute a CVC strategy that makes strategic investments in start-up companies;
3. establish a “center of excellence” for assessing, valuing, negotiating, and executing deals; and
4. help champion a culture within Bose that seeks and embraces outside technology and ideas.
In order to help successfully establish this function within Bose, the candidate must be passionate about innovation and be an outstanding communicator and collaborator with strong business skills. A successful candidate must have a solid technical background with a track record of successfully executing buyside and sellside M&A transactions. The candidate may also have expertise in a venture role with experience identifying, assessing, acquiring / investing in, and integrating innovative technologies or businesses into a corporation. This position will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Development & Ventures.
Role Responsibilities:
· Build, maintain, and leverage an extensive professional network to identify opportunities that will accelerate our corporate strategy
· Develop a strong understanding of Bose’s technical and business strengths and needs in order to more effectively identify good opportunities for the company.
· Present proposals for bringing in new technologies, ideas and businesses to internal leadership. Evaluate and provide expert perspective on potential new technologies, ideas and businesses identified by internal leadership.
· Help to establish drive our corporate venturing function and strategy.
· Help to create internal processes and implement best practices for originating and executing transactions and integrating new technologies, ideas and businesses within Bose.

· Solid technical expertise with financial analyses and presentations. Ability to effectively drive deal execution with limited oversight
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's Degree is required and MBA is a plus
· 5-10 years combined experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity or related roles
