What You’ll Be Doing:
Responsible for all aspects of obtaining and managing employee and organization licenses, primarily related to the security and life-safety industries
Coordinate and manage the process of obtaining, renewing, and complying with licenses, certifications, and other qualifications for employees and the organization
Verify license requirements and coordinate, complete, and process applications and other submissions, including gathering supporting documents, fingerprints, exam results, and background information
Research, interpret, and evaluate laws and regulations relating to licenses
Implement compliance procedures
Oversee the functionality of and use License Pro/License HQ to track license status and expiration dates to generate reports
Resolve issues, and manage the vendor relationship
Ensure individuals maintain their licenses in good standing and complete continuing education (“CE”) and other training requirements
Perform compliance reviews of subcontractors and other entities with which the organization does business
Manage regulatory audits, including document preparation and meetings with regulators
Respond to questions from employees and the organization relating to licensing requirements, deadlines, CE, and related topics and otherwise serve as the organization’s subject matter expert
Identify and coordinate training opportunities (e.g., prep courses) related to licensing and certification requirements
What You’ll Need:
Familiarity with License Pro/License HQ
Experience in regulatory compliance
Strong attention to detail and team oriented
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient at regulatory research
Professional demeanor, including maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience with project management
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
Knowledge of licensing and certification requirements in the security and life-safety industries
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
