The Strategy & Performance team is responsible for driving a clear articulation of the Technology strategy, delivering transparency to the business and key stakeholders to promote accountability, and are recognised as a business partner able to identify, and deliver on solutions. 

The team are experts in performance, strategy, execution, simplification & efficiency and aim to enable the broader division to focus on the technology & business priorities by removing duplication and providing performance insights to enable optimal performance for the Technology function. 

We have 2 opportunities to partner with the EGM for Strategy & Performance and Ops and Tech Corp Services.  

Reporting to General Manager - Performance you will be responsible driving the development and enablement of the strategic agenda for the business and provide support to the implementation of strategy, planning and operations, financial management and risk management. 

  

  • Partner with a business area to define and continuously improve governance and reporting requirements including milestones, financials, benefits and risks 

  • Lead strategic initiatives critical to technology priorities on behalf of Group Executive/ Executive General Manager. 

  • Oversee workforce and financial management activity against targets including forecasts, budgets, actuals and reconciliation.  

  • Prepare materials for various forums, including the preparation of presentation materials, annual and quarterly memos, strategy papers and Board level documentation. 

  • Oversee, facilitate and enable the Leadership team to deliver an aligned approach for agreed Technology and business strategic priorities, i.e. manage quarterly planning cycle 

  • Resolve and remove blockers that impact prioritization and outcomes.  

  • Track metrics against stated objectives and key results; leverage data driven insights to inform continuous improvement opportunities.  

  • Manage high complexity and change, solve problems, manage senior stakeholder relationships and operate with an enterprise mindset.  

  • Drive governance reporting requirements including milestones, financials, benefits and risks; deep dive into the analytics and provide meaningful insights to drive business decisions.  

  • Provide people leadership and management where relevant and contribute to the capability uplift of others. 

 

 
We’re interested in hearing from people who have: 

  • Experience in leading in a Strategy & Performance function in Technology, Business or Operations 

  • Proven executive level stakeholder management experience  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Experience in strategy planning and or execution of strategy  

  • Strong Financial Acumen 

  • Proven experience in managing large data sets and teams who follow operational processes 

  • Experience with the provision of insights to enable senior business leaders to make data-driven decisions 

  • Knowledge and experience in using delivery frameworks and disciplines 

  • Strong collaborator & team player 

  • Continuous improvement mindset and can work at pace
