JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mentor team members on product setups on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and industry standard wafer probe and packaged device handling equipment.
- Mentor team members on conducting and reporting software and hardware validation steps (including but not limited to):
· GR&R
· Spike Analysis
· Loop Study
· Bench Correlation Studies
- Mentor team members on providing ATE Test Results and the statistical analysis of those results.
· Sync Pulse (capture any DUT stimulus / response, as needed)
· Histograms, Failure Mode Pareto’s, Trend Plots, Correlation Studies
- Mentor team members on conducting the PTC Process, Product Characterization and Qualification.
- Mentor team members on providing product specific reference documentation required by Manufacturing to setup and test either Engineering lots under ERF control, or normal Production lots after PTC completion.
- Interface with U.S. counterparts on engineering issues related to Core Team activities and assignments.
- Ensure adequate system time allocations are available to support all Business Unit’s projects.
- Monitor, assess and performs all required trainings for all subordinates in the assigned Business Unit.
- Provide inputs and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives that will increase the quality of each Development effort and / or reduce the cycle time of any Development effort.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Semiconductor Test Experience.
- 8-15 years typical Test or Product Engineering experience with exposure to Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) preferred. Experience with Eagle Test Systems (or similar) desired.
- 8-15 years typical experience in programming and/or debugging ATE based semiconductor product test code preferred. Familiarity with magnetic sensor products preferred.
- Hands-on experience with product characterization, utilizing statistical methods. Includes analyzing, debugging and solving test related problems.
- Knowledgeable and understood the Product Development, Production
- Test Capability and Qualification and Reliability processes.
- Proficient in electronic theories, device operation and circuits. Recognizes internal circuit blocks and knowledgeable to its operations.
- Comprehensive hands-on experience with product characterization utilizing basic statistical methods. Includes analyzing, debugging and solving test-related problems
- Holds formal trainings to all direct reports.
- Dynamic contributor to U.S. Product Development teams through phone conferencing and email communications.
