Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviews applications of residency or fellowship program applicants, schedules and coordinates yearly interviews for selection of new residents or fellows, establishes files of completed applications and related materials, corresponds with individuals and those who are accepted into the program.
Coordinates residents/fellows schedules, rotations, vacations, call and conference schedules and documents attendance and absence excuses.
Arranges for phone or pagers, white coats, lockers and mailboxes and for certificates of program completion.
Reviews ACGME requirements for the program(s) and evaluates program(s) to assess and ensure compliance.
Maintains all records and documentation required by the ACGME and supervises the collection of data fulfilling requirements of ACGME and other licensing and credentialing boards.
Prepares reports and complies statistics.
Compiles faculty and resident evaluations.
Participates in preparation of budget as it relates to residency/fellowship program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
