We are looking to hire a highly motivated Business Operations Analyst to join our team. The role will include leading the reporting of key metrics for various audiences including Senior Leadership. You will develop and maintain documentation for data and workflow improvement projects and collaborate with multi-functional teams to promote self-serve reporting for our various collaborators. Additionally, you will implement automation and workflow improvements to advance data-driven programs we deliver as a team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection, validation and reporting of KPIs and metrics for various forums including monthly operational reporting for senior leadership.

  • Develop and maintain team documentation when solutioning for data and workflow improvement projects.

  • Partner with multi-functional teams to promote self-serve reporting and enable citizen developers through consultation and knowledge transfer.

  • Implement automation and workflow improvement solutions via Microsoft Power Platform tools to assist in the overall team mandate of operationalizing data decision making tools via Power BI.

  • Stay up-to-date with data and business analysis standard methodologies and emerging trends in data-decision-making-tool development/design.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience providing operations support in an analyst capacity.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken. 
  • Demonstrable ability to proactively ask questions, analyze and influence, rather than merely react, and deliver. 
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering data decision making tools through Power BI.
  • Experience in solutioning workflow enhancement and automation through Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps & Power Automate.
  • User Acceptance Testing experience.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Manulife & John Hancock Retirement products systems and operations. 

  • Knowledge of the Retirement Operations record keeping systems, workflows and CRM tools.    

  • Understanding of the financial/retirement regulatory environment.

Salary range is expected to be between

$48,075.00 CAD - $80,125.00 CAD
