The opportunity
Delivers to MCBL’s objectives through lead generation, bank partnership and need-based selling of MCBL products.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate customer need-based selling to China Bank’s high net worth clients of MCBL protection, health, savings, education, retirement, investment, and business solutions.
- Build, develop and maintain strong and productive partnership with bank partners – Cluster Heads and Relationship Managers.
- Meets monthly sales goals and validation requirements through discipline execution of sales activities metrics (4 new business leads/day, 1 secured appointment/day, 1 client presentation/day).
- Update status of leads in SAM/Vymo consistently to properly monitor traction of all leads based on sales funnel and ensure reliability and accuracy of sales analytics.
- Practice sales activities diligently to ensure consistently quality lead generation, lead conversion, account acquisition, account maintenance, repeat business, deepening and cross-selling of MCBL products.
- Regularly prepares reports, reviews, and adjusts plans with the Sales Manager and Cluster Head. Prepares other reports required by Management.
- Conducts policy review to provide quality customer experience through updates and financial advice to clients to be able to upsell, resell, cross-sell, and/or generate leads. Policy reviews and after sales service is an important job deliverable and customer requirement that leads to more business from clients, referrals from engaged clients and more referrals from the Bank partners. It is an integral part of MCBL’s commitment to the Bank’s customers as well as MCBL’s customers.
- Generates new account relationships, deepens and broadens existing relationships, and performs account handling and maintenance tasks to improve account profitability and expand business.
- Maintains cordial working relations with clients by ensuring timely and expeditious handling of clients’ financial needs and requirements.
- Prepares and ensure availability of documentary requirements.
- Conducts analysis on work processes and recommends improvement.
- Conducts market/competitor shopping, client mapping, telesales, sales calls, and on-site product presentations for new business acquisitions, sometimes jointly with Relationship Managers.
- Promotes & facilitates referrals of MCBL products and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Evaluates solutions using previous experience and may mentor others to enhance work quality and efficiency.

- Conducts proper Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), depending on client’s risk profile.
- Ensures daily email communications are checked and attended to.
- Attends meetings, trainings, conferences, and related learning activities as required by immediate head and/or management.
- Compliance to all HR System (Workday Employee Self Service) requirements and other HR deliverables within deadline provided.
- Ensure 100% completion of compliance trainings mandated by the company within deadline provided. Strict adherence to all customer protection, privacy, data handling and other compliance, policy and regulatory requirements of the company. Compliance training includes Product Trainings, Product Orientation, promo cascades, and related activities geared toward product knowledge.
- Subject Matter Expert on Wealth Management and maybe tapped as a Resource related but not limited to processes, sales and relationship building strategies, investment.
- Conduct post sales service to all clients and real-time escalation of complaints to concerned units.
- May be assigned to a WMG office temporarily or permanently, dedicated or clustered, depending on business requirement.
- Provides professional guidance to team members and may supervise a small team, if needed.
- Other relevant task/s that may be assigned from time to time.

What we are looking for
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/ College Degree
- Recognized expert in Wealth Management. Serving as a resource for matters related to Wealth Management, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning. Highly knowledgeable in the market including market forecast and market analysis into expected trends, potential risks and opportunities in a specific market over a defined period, banking, marketing and sales, retail sales. Preferably with minimum 3 years work experience in Sales.
- Knowledgeable in Sales Process. Possesses technical expertise in finance, accounting, taxation, and investment strategies.
- Should possesses the ability to establish and nurture robust networks to generate new opportunities for clients. Must have skills in marketing, negotiation, and sales, along with strong customer orientation, analysis and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills. Proficiency in basic MS Office programs.
Strong interpersonal skills, stress resilience, adaptability, assertiveness, goal orientation, influencing skills and confidence are also essential.
