Job Description:

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting). ASE Certification preferred.

Must possess the qualifications of the Ground Support Equipment Mechanic and have the ability to direct the workforce and provide practical training to the Ground Equipment Mechanic(s) assigned to him or her.

As an AGI Mechanic you will:

Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair: vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel, and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units and more

Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment

Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies

To be an AGI Mechanic you must:

Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent

Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check

As an AGI Mechanic you must be able to:

Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) in confined spaces on a regular basis

Climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods

Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises

Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
