Citi Markets – Strategy and Business Execution

Within Markets, Strategy and Business Execution supports the Markets Head, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Officer in defining the strategy agenda and driving the execution.

  • The candidate will be working in a small team, across the spectrum of Markets businesses globally, partnering within Markets and other parts of Citi in driving high-profile analysis. Activities include
  • Business execution across Markets
  • Business development and planning, coordinating and defining storyline for Markets review processes
  • Data / info synthesis, translating business priorities into senior management ready presentation
  • Strategy initiatives across a broad variety of topics, e.g.
  • Articulating business growth plan over short- to medium-term
  • Identifying solutions to increase financial resource productivity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and significant qualifications in Economics, Maths, Engineering, Physics or related field
  • Strong understanding of Markets products and of operating successfully across Markets businesses
  • Comprehensive experience with Markets financial information including revenue, expenses and capital etc
  • Superior attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of information, syndicate and present to the highest level    
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, experience in working with senior levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple deliverables in a professional Front Office environment
  • Ability to coordinate processes and work as part of multiple teams across a firm
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and work independently
  • An open mind for critical and creative thinking
  • Ideally experience with a top tier consulting firm covering Financial institution client engagements
  • Knowledge of Citi’s infrastructure is a plus
