An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lecturer in Midwifery to grow your profile in clinical teaching, clinical research and service and engagement. At this level, you may coordinate or lead the activities of other staff.
Key responsibilities will include:
Teaching: Develop and deliver courses, engage in curriculum design, coordinate courses, assess students, provide academic counselling, and adhere to university teaching rules.
Research: Establish a research program, collaborate on research projects, seek and manage research funding, publish in reputable journals, utilize best practice research methodologies, and participate in project discussions.
Supervision and Researcher Development: Supervise students, provide performance feedback and training, and resolve conflicts.
Citizenship and Service: Develop partnerships, demonstrate leadership through mentoring, engage in internal service roles and committees, perform administrative functions, provide support to colleagues, and uphold university values.

Completion of an advanced professional qualification or Higher Degree by Research in Midwifery.
A growing profile in clinical teaching and/or clinical research in the discipline area.
Industry knowledge and experience in a general or specialist capacity, including evidence of supporting the implementation of new and innovative clinical techniques.
A record of peer reviewed publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.
Evidence of a high level of quality clinical teaching at undergraduate postgraduate and/or professional entry level.
Experience in course coordination and contribution to the development and continuous innovation of new programs, curriculum design and course material in the discipline area.
Experience in meaningful internal service roles in conjunction with significant contributions to external activities that foster links within the profession within the relevant specialty.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, education check, and AHPRA registration.
