The Role:
Proofpoint is looking for an intern candidate that will take pride in delighting & empowering our customers by providing superior customer service and demonstrates a friendly & helpful personality teamed with technical acumen to add to the Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) technical support. The PSAT technical support team is responsible for delivering first-class security awareness training support to internal and external customers.
As a Proofpoint technical support intern in the PSAT technical support team, you will ensure high quality customer service and technical troubleshooting to both internal (Employees) and external customers (Administrators). You will work closely with the Director of customer support and the technical support team on problem replication, daily case triage, as well as filing and working appropriate trouble tickets in a consultative approach to customer support and program implementation. There will be opportunities to proactively research and integrate product changes into daily support processes, multi-task and prioritize projects and daily work in addition to potentially developing new test processes or enhancing existing tools.
Job Requirements:
Must have adaptive skills and enjoy the rewards and challenges of a large dynamic, collaborative group. Must learn quickly, ask questions, and solve problems independently. Successful interns should also have innate customer care with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate Profile:
You have the ability and interest in working full time (a maximum of 40 hours/week) in our Pittsburgh, PA office or remotely until it is safe to work in office. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA. This summer internship is scheduled to run for 11 weeks from June - August 2025.
