C.H. Robinson is offering an exciting opportunity to join our TMC division as an intern within the Global Customer Success Organization. In this paid internship, you will have the chance to work alongside supply chain professionals managing thousands of shipments for one of the world's most recognized advanced diversified manufacturing and technology companies. As part of this dynamic and cross-functional team, you will interact with colleagues around the globe, and over approximately 10 weeks, you'll engage in various continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiencies across TMC and delivering direct benefits to our customers.

The Global Customer Success Organization is dedicated to managing and nurturing relationships with our key clients on a global scale, comprising professionals with diverse expertise and playing a pivotal role in ensuring seamless logistics solutions, fostering client satisfaction, and driving the strategic growth of our international accounts.

Our internship program provides you with the opportunity to make an impact at a Fortune 200 global company. You’ll help some of the world’s most diverse and prominent companies move their products around the world. The supply chain industry is evolving faster than ever before, and you’ll be in the middle of the action, gaining hands-on business experience. Interns are integrated into our teams, giving you the opportunity to learn global freight services and help shippers and carriers optimize supply chains.

In this role, you will engage with peers on-site three days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and craft valuable, actionable reports
  • Work closely with clients, operations team, and broader account team
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance
  • Perform requirements analyses and ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Relationship building skills
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Undergraduate education at a Junior or Senior level (pursuing a business, sales, marketing, supply chain, communications, or related major is a plus)
