2024 Data Analyst - Enterprise Analytics Summer Intern
Our Enterprise Analytics team
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our U.S. Bank Enterprise Analytics team. We provide insight derived from Customer and Workforce Analytics to enable sound, fact-based decision making across the bank, from the board room to the front line. The team focuses on leveraging market research and behavioral customer and employee analytics to foster deeper relationships with both customers and employees. We generate insights that power our marketing campaigns and customer relationship management efforts across the bank.
What you’ll do
Our 10-week paid internship will provide you with the foundation on how to analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. You will receive accelerated learning and skill development through a mix of on-the-job training, mentorship, a community of peers and advisors, and a pathway to a full-time role as a Data Analyst after graduation.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll:
Get hands-on experience working on projects that impact the business such as:
Analyze and interpret large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support data analysis and reporting.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Create and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in data sets.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and interpretation.
Develop technical and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives
Build a supportive community of peers through a variety of cohort strengthening activities such as social events, volunteer days, and development workshops
Complete a Credit Capstone project with other corporate credit interns and present to senior executives
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for talent with demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
Basic qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026
Some coursework in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or the ability to apply knowledge in those areas to understanding the overall lending and business environment
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
Ability to start internship program on June 9, 2025

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed analytical skills
Acute attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
Ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently, exhibiting initiative, ownership, and flexibility
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working model and hours:
This role is hybrid. Interns who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
Interns work approximately 40-hours each week during the internship.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
