THE ROLE: 
For our Manufacturing site in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) with over 800 employees we are seeking a Senior CI Specialist - Operations (Lean)
The Ci specialist,  under the supervision of the CI Manager, is responsible for leading and facilitating project teams to improve critical business processes, drive financial results and lean manufacturing principles within Operations.
The CI Specialist must fulfill the needs of the company in a manner that is consistent with the site’s vision and values and spread CI Culture through training and coaching activities.

Strategic Analysis

Supporting the definition and implementation of the overall site operations strategic plan, developing the local business, and ensuring the connections across the site functions.

Develop and support methods and systems to reach the strategic goals, objectives, and metrics.

Support a clear vision agreed upon with the functional leaders to drive the deployment. CI has to promote good results and celebrate them to get people engaged.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

Leading and coordinating improvement projects by facilitating events with the support of cross-functional team members, to address bottlenecks and pain points throughout the full process under analysis.

Guiding the team members to help them address challenges affecting productivity, quality and lead time of manufacturing processes.

Promoting the culture of standard work across manufacturing processes to simplify the business and increase the quality of the outputs.

Guaranteeing integration across different projects/processes and coordinating the improvements to accomplish the project goals.

Project Management:

Coordination of projects with different size and complexity delivering success within given scope and timeframe.

Supporting teams from a methodological point of view and teamwork attitude, guiding the execution of projects with the Lean Six Sigma problem-solving methodology.

Developing business cases and financial analyses for evaluating the business impact/benefits of the improvement actions delivered.

Managing the communication through the project team and with internal/external stakeholders, addressing priority challenges, and coordinating risk mitigation to minimize project impact.

Tracking project status updates & results to achieve the annual operating plan.

Identifying opportunities, scouting for new ideas of improvement in manufacturing processes and selecting the right projects in terms of business benefit.

Training & Development:

Identifying potential project team members into the organization.

Training colleagues to increase their knowledge of LSS tools with the aim of spreading the CI culture.

Coaching colleagues who lead Continuous improvement projects / problem-solving activities to guide them through the LSS certification path.

Capturing project case histories that can be reused for other improvement initiatives and sharing them as best practices.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields;
  • 2+ years of process improvement experience leading cross-functional projects;
  • Experience in the application of mapping tools like Slowchart, Swimlane, spaghetti charts, etc;
  • Superior oral & written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the company;
  • Proven project management and leadership abilities in a team environment;
  • Delivery of A3 projects experience;
  • Good English written/spoken;
  • Fluent in Italian;
  • Positive and energetic attitude;
  • People-oriented;
  • Change and conflict management;
  • Green belt certification is a plus

LOCATION: Montecchio Maggiore (VI)
CONTRACT: full time, permanent
SMART WORKING: 2 days per week (After the first period of training)
