The Sourcing Senior Analyst is responsible for participating in Sourcing activities such as defining the need for goods and services and negotiating price contracts. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.
As a Sourcing Senior Analyst within Citi’s Global Sourcing & Risk function, you will become a member of a high-performing team that identifies and leads complex, cross-functional strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives within the Banking Operations & Financial Services category. Expense categories include but are not limited to Collections, Lending Services, Branch Equipment, ATMs, Cash Management, and Payments & Transaction processing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a large book of work of sourcing projects and contracts. This includes working with the business stakeholders, internal colleagues, and external suppliers to negotiate new or renew agreements including Master Agreements, Work Orders, amendments, etc.
- Negotiate and draft / redline contract terms and conditions including but not limited to fees, payment terms, document business requirements, define deliverables and acceptance criteria, service levels while optimizing overall value including financial outcome and mitigate risk.
- Assist cross-functional teams in developing and executing sourcing and supplier management strategies.
- Create, manage and/or support Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotes (RFQ) and eAuction events.
- Analyze supplier proposals and develop reports or PowerPoint presentations illustrating saves or increases in expenses. Identify baseline spend analysis.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to consolidate information, perform ad hoc spend requests, and respond to management briefings, audit, and regulatory requests.
- Establish strong relationships with internal business stakeholders; build a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned suppliers and / or product and service categories.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding for Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end process.
- Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual English
- Experience with Procurement and Accounts Payable (AP) systems
- Experience with Contracts and eProcurement tools (e.g. Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFX)
- Experience with reporting and analytics
- Experience with Risk and Controls preferred
- Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
