Lead the marketing activities in the region of responsibility (NOLA) and be responsible for the development and implementation of the channel marketing plan in the territory, in line with the sales team’s priorities, including channel sell-through and sell-out programs, demand generation for channel marketers, and brand building programs.
Work closely with the NOLA Channel Sales Team to generate an incremental sales pipeline for existing and new products and services.
Direct marketing liaison Channel Sales Director and CSEs (Channel Sales Executives)
Manage and distribute the territory budget according to the plan
Utilize demand generation tools, resources, and agencies for campaigns and programs and reporting purposes
Create integrated programs and demand generation campaigns in alignment with new product launches, co-marketing campaigns, existing product upsells and cross-sells, and new market development
Adapt regional content for local use (as needed)
Develop and deploy incentive campaigns
Review and approve partner use of co-op funds
Develop customer case studies to promote portfolio benefits to customers
Planned, developed, and tracked events, including trade shows, conferences, anniversaries, industry events, technology days, etc.
Support local distributors and partners with marketing programs and initiatives that grow sales and provide positive ROI
Advise other Marketing team members (i.e. Solutions & Product Marketing, Digital Campaigns Marketing, and Lead Management) on trends in the territory.
Study and understand legal/regulatory, economic, and any other environmental factor(s) affecting customers in the territory and/or influencing their purchasing decisions.
Understand the competitive landscape locally & position Motorola Solutions to compete.
Support Solutions & Product Marketers w/amplification of regional campaigns locally, and major product launches in the territory
Own the relationship with local vendors/associations/conferences
Aggregate and communicate field marketing activities and status to LACR Channel Marketing Head
Elevate the most important/relevant info to be communicated to senior leadership
Look for commonalities in field marketing processes, activities, etc., to leverage best practices across territories
Qualifications:
A professional with a full understanding of the area of specialization resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Must be self-starting and self-driven and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Ability to drive strategic planning and tactical execution.
Business and marketing plan development skills, including the definition of objectives, tactics, time schedules, budgets, responsibilities, and measurements
Being able to foster relationships with key Motorola leaders and associates as well as key external groups is essential, especially partnering with an enterprise sales team.
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time
You are metric-driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
A marketing degree or similar is required
English and Spanish level: Advanced
