The pay range is $125,600.00 - $226,100.00

As the Director FP&A Roundel, you will:

  • Lead the Roundel FP&A team across a variety of paygrades, including directing and prioritizing work, providing growth opportunities, and coaching and developing in-role and for broader career goals, while providing real-time, actionable feedback
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain talent to bolster the Roundel FP&A team, including balancing the need for industry expertise and elevating strategic insights of the business
  • Provide timely and value-added financial analysis and visibility into financial performance for Roundel business partner groups, including strategic planning, capital investment decisions, and resource plans
  • Develop driver-based financial models to help shape business outcomes, including creating new products, optimizing existing products, and driving new channel decisions, leveraging industry expertise and insights, including click-through rates, ad load, fill rates, etc.
  • Create business plans to influence resource plans, tech roadmaps, and corporate development decisions
  • Draw upon industry expertise to elevate the FP&A team's acumen and skillset, enhance the team's reporting and analytical packages, and better influence business partners and shape Roundel's future
  • Lead annual financial and strategic planning for the Roundel business, as well as monthly results reviews and financial forecast updates, that leverage industry expertise, business trends, and enterprise initiatives
  • Lead annual Goal and long-range planning processes for Roundel, including resource plans, as well as cost center budgeting process for all of Roundel
  • Create plug-and-play long-range planning model to flex for different business needs and outcomes
  • Influence a variety of leaders, including Roundel’s SVP, Sales team, Go-To-Market Lead, Product Design, and Strategy, as well as Finance leaders
  • Help shape and influence Roundel’s long-term strategy, including new revenue streams and resource needs
  • Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, leveraging a variety of sources, and creating strong recommendations
  • Develop strong partnerships with Merchandising Finance to translate Roundel financials into merchandising forecasts, helping to influence total company vendor income targets for the year, and partnerships with the central finance planning team and accounting to help translate Roundel financials into external financials
  • Review all external communications that contain Roundel financials for accuracy and messaging

About you:  

  • Four-year degree (Finance or Accounting preferred), or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Finance experience, FP&A preferred
  • Retail media, ad tech, digital ad sales, or media industry experience required
  • 5+ years of experience hiring, leading, and developing teams including a demonstrated ability to set and execute a clear direction for your team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with and influence all levels of management
  • MBA/CPA/MA preferred

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
