Reports to: Vice President of Revenue Management

Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Job Summary: The Revenue Analyst supports the revenue management team by monitoring transient inventory, adjusting allocations, and preparing daily and weekly reports for assigned hotels. This role collaborates closely with hotel management to ensure inventory is optimized and aligned with each day’s sell strategy, leveraging analytical skills and system knowledge to drive revenue performance.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Review transient inventory availability and adjust allocations to align with daily sell strategies for all assigned hotels.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, ensuring timely and accurate data for revenue management decision-making.
  • Import, merge, and assemble documents for weekly revenue meetings for assigned hotels.
  • Conduct data analysis on occupancy and revenue trends to support pricing and inventory recommendations.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory controls and adjusting price positioning parameters as directed.
  • Gather and maintain historical data to support forecasting and revenue planning.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team to ensure accurate rate and inventory setup in the RMS and PMS systems.
  • Prepare preliminary reports for the review of revenue management strategies and performance.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Marriott and/or Hilton systems is highly preferred; additional experience with Marriott HPP, OneYield, MRDW, CI/TY, RPO, or Hilton OnQ R&I, GRO is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis and create reports.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness.
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with revenue management and property teams.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily works in an indoor office environment.
  • May occasionally participate in on-site visits to properties, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent use of computers and revenue management software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
