Who will you be working with?
You’ll be part of the Business Line “Marine Solutions”. You’ll work cross-functionally, collaborating closely with Finance, Sales, and other departments to develop solutions that enhance business profitability and support long-term strategic goals.
How will you make a difference?
As a Project Manager Margin Analysis & Improvement, you’ll lead our efforts in analyzing and improving the gap between ‘as-sold’ margin and actual margin. You’ll be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to uncover root causes of margin leakages, provide actionable insights, and drive performance improvements.
What will your typical day look like?
1. Margin Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of order intake margin versus sales margin to identify variances and potential margin leakages.
Investigate discrepancies by analyzing trends, patterns, and anomalies in pricing, discounting, cost structures, and other relevant areas.
2. Data-Driven Insights:
Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Create and present detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
3. Performance Improvement:
Propose strategic recommendations to address identified margin gaps and prevent future leakages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor corrective actions.
Partner closely with finance, sales, and operations to align on initiatives and achieve business targets.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Actively engage with Finance to ensure consistent methodologies and data accuracy.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to align on shared goals and drive accountability.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Develop, track, and regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to margin improvement efforts.
Lead and participate in regular review meetings to assess project progress and pivot strategies as necessary.
What do we want to know about you?
Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
+ 5 years experience in project management with a strong focus on data analysis, preferably in finance and/or in manufacturing environment.
Polish and English professional proficiency (German is considered a plus)
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g.Excel, Power BI, SQL) and experience with ERP and CRM systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives to completion
Availability to travel (30% of time)
