Church & Dwight’s Export team conducts business in over 130 countries and represents one of the fastest growing business units within Church & Dwight. China market is a very strategic and important market. This role is new within this team and has been created to address brand-building and sales execution needs to enable rapid growth in China.

We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader to drive our E-commerce strategy, strengthening strong market positioning, accelerating digital growth, and elevating the customer experience.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Be the owner of a brand in China E-commerce channels, by leading internal team and external partners to deploy P/L management and portfolio.
  • Responsibility for the E-commerce/Digital platform gross sales and MPC% delivery (including traditional E-commerce such as Alibaba/JD, social commerce such as Douyin and Kuai). Implement account strategies and drive go-to-market strategies to deliver consistent and profitable growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end operations of the E-commerce platform, ensuring performance, resources and user experience.
  • Drive Joint Business Planning with TP/DP/Distributor, setting clear annual KPIs and stretch to maximize growth across all key channels within the market.
  • Work closely with Direct Selling Sales Lead and other cross function teams, particularly marketing team to integrate digital marketing into the marketing calendar and build complementary skills and leverage.
  • Manage EC platforms’ investments and development, optimization, merchandising and performance partnership with brand marketing teams.
  • Analyze the performance on EC platforms, activate the right business drivers by analyzing KPIs, ROI etc.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience of digital commerce with demonstrated history of setting up scaling & managing ecommerce business is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, and business savvy orientation with strong appreciation for standard methodologies and governance in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Able to be an individual contributor, willing and eager to work in an agile hands-on capacity to serve as a partner and trusted resource to our marketers.
  • Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and /or initiatives.
  • Strong ability to handle complex business matters.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skill in both Mandarin and English. 

The job will be based at in Church and Dwight Shanghai office, and will require occasional (~25%) domestic and international travel.
