Job Summary

The Journey Architect / Designer is responsible for blueprinting standardized, scalable customer journeys that translate go-to-market strategy into executable, multi-channel programs.

This role defines journey structures, builds reusable blueprints, and ensures consistent execution across markets—enabling a “design once, scale many” operating model.

Responsibilities

  • Define Customer Journeys with GTM marketing teams
    Define end-to-end customer journeys across lifecycle stages (e.g., awareness, consideration, evaluation, decision, advocacy), including triggers, decision points, and progression logic.

  • Develop Journey Blueprints
    Create detailed, execution-ready journey blueprints covering:

    • Stage objectives and outcomes

    • Signals and trigger logic

    • Channel sequencing and touchpoints

    • Content and engagement requirements

  • Standardization & Reuse

  • Build and maintain a standardized journey framework and pattern library to enable repeatable deployment across markets and segments.

  • Signal-Driven Orchestration
    Translate customer and business signals into if/then logic that drives journey activation, movement, and personalization.

  • Strategy to Execution Translation
    Convert marketing and sales strategies into operational journey logic that can be implemented in marketing automation and CRM systems.

  • Governance & Quality
    Define and enforce standards for journey design, data requirements, and QA to ensure consistency and scalability.
    Drive adoption of standardized journeys and reduce one-off designs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, sales, data, and activation teams to align journeys with targeting, content, and execution requirements.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field

  • (Advanced degree such as MBA is a plus)

  • 8–12+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Customer journey design / lifecycle marketing

  • Marketing operations or revenue operations

  • Demand generation, ABM, or digital marketing

  • Go-to-market strategy execution

  • Proven experience in:

  • Designing multi-touch, cross-channel customer journeys

  • Working with persona-based and account-based engagement models

  • Translating strategy into structured logic (decision trees, workflows, rules-based automation)

  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Eloqua or similar)

  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with experience working across marketing, sales, and data teams
