This team is focused specifically on the Payments portfolio of solutions within LexisNexis Risk Solutions. This market is a ~$100M revenue business with three primary product lines housed under the iconic Bankers Almanac brand. The Global Payments and Validate products support account validation and the straight-through processing of primarily cross-border payments; the KYC product suite supports the onboarding and due diligence of financial counterparties. The Payments market is a global business with five operating regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, North America, UK&I) and has a large installed customer base and strong profit margins.
About the Role
Responsible for leading and defining the strategy, product needs and prioritisation, commercial strategy, and other organisational objectives (e.g. product sales, marketing and M&A). You will also maintain ownership or the strategic roadmap and approach (organic and inorganic) to achieve necessary objectives. You will facilitate actions across the organisation (e.g. sales, product, ops, marketing), achieving set goals and maximising Payments growth.
Responsibilities
- Providing leadership of the Payments market, delivering solutions to a global customer base.
- Optimising and accountable for revenue objectives in the specific regions.
- Acting as a subject matter expert internally and externally in the area of cross-border payments and straight-through processing. Facilitated by analytics and narrative built around our strategic position.
- Supporting executive relationships with key accounts, industry and trade associations, including representatives of government, public service organizations, customers, and vendors.
- Ensuring the proper execution of the strategic market plan by leading and/or influencing a matrix cross functional team. This will include (Sales, Product, Content & Ops, Finance, Legal, Marketing) to execute go-to-market strategies.
- Directing the development of and participating in reviewing and approving short and long-term operating objectives and plans. Developing and integrating the various regional plans and strategies into an overall market plan to achieve maximum revenue growth.
- Leading merger and acquisition investment cases, beginning with strategy and target identification and continuing through due diligence and integration.
- Taking responsibility for ensuring through the market strategy, the appropriate product portfolio mix, pricing and commercial models and appropriate positioning.
Requirements
- Have completed a MBA or equivalent achievement / experience.
- Demonstrate demonstrable technical and professional experience, with extensive Payments industry expertise.
- Able to demonstrate a track record of outstanding results achievement, including ownership of commercial objectives.
- Display proven ability to lead large, complex projects to successful in-market results.
- Possess ability to lead large teams in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrate ability to Manage to build and grow senior executive relationships with large clients globally.
- Possess business acumen, strategic and financial planning. Organisation assessment, creativity, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities, budget management and outstanding communication skills.
