In this interesting role within the Corporate and Commercial Bank (CCB), you’ll be supporting the Relationship Director with the day-to-day management of an existing portfolio of Corporate Clients.

You’ll be part of a team of relationship managers helping to deliver the growth ambition for the region. You’ll be required to be build and grow client relationships through attendance at client meetings and develop an internal and external network of key business introducers and stakeholders.

The difference you’ll make:

  • Supporting the management of a portfolio of clients by building relationships with key contacts and delivering a client experience second to none
  • Engaging with clients to gain a deep understanding of their business, anticipating their needs, and suggesting differentiated propositions
  • Growing the business by taking a proactive approach to business development and in identifying opportunities
  • Delivering the process flow for lending transactions and risk rating models
  • Preparing returns analysis on lending deals for clients and prospects
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating the risks associated with role, including Financial Crime, Credit, Fraud and Cyber Risk

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

  • Previous experience in a relationship manager role within banking
  • Well-developed credit and financial analysis skills
  • Experience and knowledge of the Northern Irish market

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Previous experience in the Corporate and Commercial Banking market 
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Understanding of credit risk rating models and the process flow for lending transactions
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar systems and Office 365

What else you need to know:

This permanent role is based in Belfast.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
