As the Marketing Manager, Operational Excellence, you will play a crucial role in refining our marketing operations and elevating our capabilities. You will blend marketing expertise with analytical prowess to design and implement strategic initiatives that enhance marketing effectiveness and align with business priorities. This position focuses on continuous improvement, rigorous experimentation and operational excellence, ensuring our practices lead the industry.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive operational strategies and capability enhancement plans to boost marketing effectiveness across various channels.

  • Process Improvement Leadership: Oversee the improvement of marketing processes from concept to deployment, ensuring best practices in project management and operational excellence.

  • Experimental Design and Evaluation: Design, implement, and assess experiments to optimise marketing operations, sharing insights for continuous improvement.

  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all marketing operations comply with brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

  • Stakeholder Identification and Engagement: Identify relevant stakeholders and select appropriate techniques to manage requirements effectively.

  • Business Function Assessment: Document current business processes to identify and recommend improvements, including the application of user and customer journeys.

  • Lead workshops to capture and challenge requirements articulating business and customer value to the project delivery team.

  • Support the project delivery / scrum team to break down work and translate requirements into functional specifications using appropriate method (e.g. backlog creation, user stories, as-built functional documentation etc.)

  • Risk and Compliance Assessment: Contribute to evaluating dependencies and associated risks and compliance implications of requirements and solutions.
