YOUR ROLE
As a Consumer Insights Analyst, you will drive data-driven decisions by providing strategic insights into consumer trends and preferences. Your responsibilities include conducting market research studies, facilitating benchmark testing for leading brands, and conducting consumer perception studies to evaluate product efficacy. Your insights will guide product development, pricing, and marketing strategies, ensuring our offerings meet consumer needs. Additionally, you will manage a global network of testers, ensuring timely feedback and maintaining a comprehensive database to support ongoing research initiatives.

By conducting thorough market research and facilitating benchmark testing, you will ensure that our products align with current and emerging trends, providing a competitive edge in the market. Your insights into consumer preferences and perceptions will guide the NPD team in refining product design and quality, ultimately leading to products that resonate with our target audience. Furthermore, your work with the marketing team will help craft compelling content that communicates the product's value propositions. Through your diligent management of global testers and data, you will ensure that our research efforts are grounded in accurate, real-time consumer feedback, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
CORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct comprehensive market research to understand macro and micro trends for key and emerging markets/competitor brands. Such practice should be integrated quarterly to ensure the
· Facilitate Benchmark testing for market-leading brands to truly understand market characteristics from a technical perspective. Use this information to steer the refinement of product alternatives which adhere to key macro/micro trends
· Facilitate Consumer Perception Studies to truly understand the efficacy of the product and derive macro and micro claims for marketing.
· Gain Consumer Insights, through Market Research Studies, on pricing, product design, product quality, product ingredients/components.
· Manage and communicate with a global network of testers, ensuring they meet survey deadlines and provide timely feedback.
· Oversee and maintain a global database of testers, continuously refining and updating the database to support ongoing research and testing initiatives.Build out technical information documents which can be shared both internally and externally to educate all on the product and its merits.
· Engage in due diligence for all research and development initiatives with in-house and external
· factory partners.
· Work with the NPD team to apply consumer insights to product development and manufacturing and marketing team with content creation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Skills and experience that you are looking for/the candidate needs to have and or preferably has to succeed in this role.
· 2+ years of experience in research, analytics or marketing
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues
· You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and similar tools for data analysis
· Strong communication skills, and ability to understand and communicate in verbal and written English
· Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritise, stay organised, and manage time effectively
· Willingness to take responsibility and accountable for the work of the team
