Who will you be working with? Reporting to Materials Manager. As a member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for scheduling production activities by leveraging MRP system suggestions, work orders and planned orders. The role focuses on optimizing material availability, aligning supply and demand, and addressing production challenges. MRP maintenance and reporting responsibilities are also key aspects of the role.
Where is the position located? This is Permanent full time position at any of our office site across Australia
What will your typical day look like?
Prepare production schedules based on workorders and planned orders
Monitoring material availability as indicated by MRP system, addressing shortages and ensuring alignment with production requirements.
MRP Driven Problem Solving: Analyse and act on supply and demand misalignments highlighted by MRP working with teams to implement corrective measures.
Operational Scheduling Support: Plan and adjust production programs based on MRP insights, master schedule, shop capacity and tooling availability.
Process Optimization: Use system data to identify and drive improvements in scheduling and production workflows.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work across teams and shifts to resolve issues such as bottlenecks, part shortages, resource constraints, and capacity challenges.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Review data from MRP and production systems to create actionable reports and provide insights to senior management.
MRP item set-up and parameter maintenance
What do we want to know about you?
Degree graduate (Finance/IT or Supply Chain preferred)
Experience in Commodity or General Stock Management, Logistics, Financial Management, Accounting or similar
Proficiency with Oracle MRP or similar systems
Advanced MS Office suite skills, particularly Excel for data analysis (pivot tables, charts, and reports)
