Job Description
 

The Compliance Team is looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Compliance Officer. The successful person will be responsible for compliance-related topics with an emphasis on regulatory reporting on behalf of the Management Company and the funds under management in both Ireland and Luxembourg.  The Compliance Officer role reports to the Head of Compliance.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Preparation & filing of regulatory reports in Ireland and Luxembourg (including AML related filings and Lux SAQ).
  • Engagement with third party service providers including management and completion of information requests.
  • Participation in (with a view to eventual management of) regulatory programmes such as the fitness & probity process for the Management Company and the funds under management.
  • Support with internal compliance monitoring including employee attestations.
  • Assisting with the drafting of management information and board reports for the Management Company and funds.
  • Supporting and assisting with internal and group-wide projects.
  • Working with other business & management functions to address compliance requirements.
  • Providing support in respect of the implementation of new and upcoming regulation in connection with UCITS, AIFMD, AML etc. at both national and international level

Requirements

  • Third level business or legal qualification.
  • 3+ years professional experience in Fund Management Company or Administrator with experience in regulatory reporting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with fund management companies in Ireland and Luxembourg including AML, CP86, Fitness & Probity (including IAF) and the Corporate Governance Code.
  • Experience in interacting with the Central Bank of Ireland and other international regulators.
  • Great communication skills (both written and oral) and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong willingness to work as part of a team and with colleagues at other global offices.
