Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our Structures Sub-Assembly team in Auburn, Washington!  

The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies.  The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

This role requires a keen attention to detail. The individual selected will be responsible for carefully monitoring and measuring supplier performance while clearly communicating performance expectations.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Prepare and execute negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions.

  • Integrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into negotiation and contracting strategies.

  • Provide oversight and contract management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.

  • Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.

  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities, inclusive of Value Engineering, and integrate results into contracting strategies.

  • Proactively communicate with the leadership team, peers, and customers. This may include the preparation and presentation of the business vision, supplier strategies, program/project status, etc.

  • Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • 3+ years of experience interacting with suppliers, conducting supply chain management operational performance reviews, and suppliers

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (15-25%)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans

  • 3+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts

  • 3+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles

  • 3+ years of experience with compiling and analyzing process data, metrics and control statistics to continuously improve process capability  

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: Location: Auburn, Washington: (Mid-Level – Level 3) - $84,500 - $103,400
