The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, assisting with compliance and benefits activities and attending to the queries of our most important asset – Our People – in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the US and the UK.
 
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
  • Attending to employee and other stakeholder queries with a strong focus on service
  • Assist in end-to-end payroll Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the US and the UK, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently and compliantly
  • Assist in company-wide events in the payroll calendar, such as annual salary Increases, bonus payments, year end and benefit renewal
  • Assist in preparation of reports for Finance for month end processing, audits etc
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,
  • Work harmoniously with internal stakeholders and customers as well as external stakeholders, including vendors, government agencies and other external stakeholders
You will have:
  • Experience in a multi-faceted payroll function (multiple jurisdictions, frequencies and/or entities)
  • Experience working with Payroll and HRIS Platforms (Exposure to HiBob, Employment Hero, Papaya Global, TriNet and/or NetSuite would be highly regarded)
  • Familiarity with relevant payroll, tax and employment laws in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the US and the UK
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and work independently to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience working with in-house and third-party (outsource) payroll delivery models
