Thunder Ridge Nature Arena:

Surrounded by thousands of acres of Ozark Mountains, Thunder Ridge Nature Arena immerses guests in the great outdoors while entertaining them with some of the biggest names and events in the country. Bass Pro Shops founder and noted conservationist Johnny Morris is the driving force behind the 18,000-capacity arena, located in Ridgedale, Missouri, just a few miles outside of the entertainment center of Branson. Thunder Ridge Nature Arena combines the natural beauty of the Ozarks with stunningly beautiful architecture that seamlessly integrates into the surrounding environment. The venue will offer unmatched premium experiences with luxurious state-of-the-art suites, boxes, and premium lounges.

The Role:

As the Director of Premium Sales and Experiences at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, you are responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of premium seating, boxes, suites, and exclusive memberships. Your role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives to maximize revenue for seasonal and multi-year agreements, as well as single event rentals. You will target both corporate clients and individual customers, leveraging your proven track record in sales to cultivate new business relationships while maintaining existing client accounts. Your innovative approach is key in enhancing guest experiences and elevating the value of premium seating and experiences at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena. As a senior sales expert, you are committed to enhancing the guest experience and growing the Premium Seating & Experiences program. Your contributions will drive revenue growth and ensuring the continued success of Thunder Ridge Nature Arena's premium offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, conducting thorough market research to identify potential premium clients.
  • Conduct new business campaigns through multi-channel outreach, consultative sales meetings, presentations, and diligent follow-through. Establish and maintain relationships with key clients in the premium hospitality sector, including high-net worth individuals and corporations.
  • Expand and nurture existing relationships to drive renewals, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to increase awareness of premium offerings.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Director and F&B team to strategize initiatives and meet client deliverables for premium lounges and in-suite service.
  • Act as the venue sales ambassador in the community, partnering with local organizations such as the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Chambers of Commerce, and Meeting Planners Associations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of premium areas ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
  • Management/oversight of ticket distribution to client in conjunction with the sales coordinator.
  • Collaborate closely with the legal, finance, and solutions teams to ensure compliance and accuracy of contracts.
  • Track and manage all expenses within budget constraints and oversee accounts receivable and payables.
  • Facilitate ongoing dialogue with the Premium Experiences leadership team to refine business processes and optimize sales strategies.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, while providing ongoing support for upselling opportunities.
  • Foster internal relationships with departmental co-workers and key inter-departmental contacts to support operations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and provide sales reports for management via CRM system. Budget requirements will be set annually and monthly with KPIs tied to individual events.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly oversee the Premium Sales Coordinator and seasonal department event staff, including suite concierge, interns, hosts, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in sports/entertainment management, marketing, business, or related field required.
  • Five years of direct business-to-business sales experience, ideally in premium seat sales, sponsorship, media, hospitality, or sports marketing.
  • Proven track record in relationship building and networking across all levels of an organization.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, highly motivated, assertive, and positive attitude
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Archtics, and CRM systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain good business relations and drive results independently.
  • Flexible schedule including late hours, early mornings, extended hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation required.
