Caterpillar Returnship is a 24-week company paid , office -based program designed to enable a soft launch for experienced professionals on a career break. This initiative includes, networking sessions, coaching, trainings and a project / work scope assignment. Eligibility to apply – Career break of minimum 6 months.

What You Will Do:

  • Strong SCM Procurement or Materials Management Functional knowledge . 

  • Any Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - BE / B.Tech.

  • Preferably Worked on SAP-SPP module and has knowledge about - SPP planning engine, Demand capture, DRP and Deployment, SNC, CIF, Global ATP, segmentation, Stocking / De-Stocking, Manage Demand, Forecasting, EOQ / Safety Stock.

  • Experience in implementation / customizing / maintenance of a Global Template / SCM Core Solution.

  • Candidate should be flexible to work in rotational shifts (Morning and Afternoon, No night shifts).

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge on the integration between SCM and other SAP components.

  • Worked on integrated landscapes with ECC, APO, CRM and EWM systems would be added advantage.

  • Knowledge on job scheduling tools like Tidal etc. is added advantage.

  • Knowledge on S/4 HANA conversions is added advantage.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

     

  • Root Cause Analysis of gaps in SAP-SPP module processes

  • Support and improve existing interfaces / functions. 

  • Execute assigned technical component testing/Unit testing against agreed requirements

  • Support error resolution during testing.

  • Works with other team leads to ensure integration across teams

  • Responsible for timely completion of deliverables with high quality

  • Ensure quality of deliverables    

  • Follow support processes, with focus on ITSM incident management  

  • Business partner communication to understand and resolve P2/P3/P4 tickets. Communicate to business partner issue impact and resolution. Handle business partner inquiries, coordinating the resolution with the various support groups     

  •  End to End Change Request Management Tasks. (Requirement gathering from business, create and review functional requirement documents, perform manual unit testing and integration testing of new functionality, ensure 100% SOX compliance, etc.,)     

  •  Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment

This position will require travelling about 10% of the time.
