JOB DESCRIPTION

As the S&O Engineer, a successful candidate will serve as key liaison person and partner strategically with relevant partners to ensure the successful implementation of key initiatives that advances the team's strategy, performance and compliance for Micron Technology, Inc., operations globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Collaborate and partner with global and local EHSS and other relevant partners (PMO, IT, systems owners and developers) to develop and deploy global reports, programs, and business processes to network and multi-cultural audiences.
  • Serve as owner of Global EHSS systems and solutions (Sharepoint, EDC, SQL Servers, MT Groups, Web Interface Design), providing administrative support, professional guidance, and consultation advice.
  • Provide relevant governance, alignment, and mentorship on project/program/portfolio management and other processes/systems/software to external and internal team partners, and re-pivoting priorities based on the changing business landscape.
  • Build and maintain, collaborate with metrics owner and systems team, to periodically publish, measure, and supervise or routine and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Drive accountability and continual improvement through clear communication, feedback, effective project management updates, and appropriate usage of metrics.
  • Perform as coordinated member of the Global EHS & Sustainability Strategy and Operations Team and accept other tasks as vital to enable the success of the team and organization.
  • Builds internal/external company web pages including graphics, animation and functionality.
  • Designs web page layout and on-line content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, content, and infrastructure for new product release and new web-hosted product offering.
  • Performs development and maintenance programming for web pages and web applications.
  • Performs web usability testing. Assures web server and site technical performance.
  • Develops, assesses, and communicates web site usage and security policies and standards.
  • Provides technical assistance to site administrators.
  • May make hardware and/or software purchasing recommendations or decisions regarding web development.
  • May perform overall administration of sites at a company-wide level.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or science (Computer, Electrical, Occupational Health and Safety) and/or related field. Additional IT-related qualifications (PowerBI, Tableau, Sharepoint, Microsoft Certified) are helpful.
  • Strong teammate to effectively collaborate with multi-functional organizations and proven track record, interpersonal, and customer service skill to comfortably work across boundaries and geographies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to converse in multiple languages such as Chinese, Malay, and Japanese are an added advantage.
  • Professional, organized, meticulous, strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills. Able to independently complete tasks and adapt to constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent and proficient digital literacy in reporting and dashboarding software (PowerBI) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, Power Automate, PowerApps).
  • Knowledge and experience with Micron systems (EDC, SharePoint, MT Groups, ECN, PDR) is preferred.
