Senior Manager, Joint Business Partnerships - Walmart Connect

Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Joint Business Partnerships (JBP) to build strategy and oversee the execution of Walmart Connects partnership (agency, tech provider, & media partner) JBPs.  You’ll contribute to a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for demonstrated performance in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment, and problem-solving leadership skills.

Walmart Connect is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, ad tech partners, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers. 

The Senior Manager, Joint Business Partnership will develop and oversee ideation and execution of several partner incentive programs targeted to specific partner cohorts of geographies. You will be responsible for operationalizing the delivery of benefits and reporting, while also working with internal cross-functional partners on execution with a focus on creating solutions to drive mutual growth and success. 

What you'll do:

  • Lead strategy and operations for partnership (agency, tech provider, &media partner) joint business partnerships

  •  Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches 

  • Coordinate with other teams, prioritizing their involvement, needs and activation 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to develop competitive benefits on joint business plans to strengthen partner relationships 

  • Lead discovery sessions to determine partner needs for mutually beneficial benefit and incentive creation 

  • Design, manage, and optimize incentive programs to motivate and reward partner performance 

  • Work with broader business teams to ensure alignment with strategies and approaches 

  • Track, analyze, and report key quantitative metrics both day-to-day and in quarterly business review format 

  • Identify trends and evolving needs, develop programmatic tools and resources to improve efficiency  

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of client facing experience in business development, ad tech partnerships, product management for search, ecommerce marketplace 

  • Experience with process implementation and program management 

  • Ability to achieve and exceed deadlines 

  • Project management experience, including multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallel   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of advertising, ad tech, retail, and partnerships 

  • Develop and align strategic plans in a new space 

  • Translate complexity into action plans and communication in a succinct manner 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment 

  • BA/BS with excellent academic performance (or equivalent experience) 

  • Deep passion building great products, startups, developer/partner ecosystem and the business of innovation 

  • Experience working with large datasets

Minimum Qualifications...
